This event was jointly organized the publication of thematic results by the AI series courses Professor Zhang Chuanyu and Professor Zhang Xuanting’s machine learning and neural network courses (a total of 37 groups of students participated). The event invited the National Chiayi University Professor Ke Jianquan and the National Formosa University Professor Xu Yonghe came to guide and act as external assessor.

For this topic, the Kaggle website “SIIM-ISIC Melanoma Classification (SIIM-ISIC Melanoma Classification)” was selected. Since skin cancer is one of the most common types of cancer, we hoped that AI technology can help improve the diagnosis accuracy of physicians.

Both courses use medical image processing as the application field, and students demonstrate the effectiveness of learning by studying the same topics.
